About me


I am a Ph.D. candidate in Operations Research at Tepper School of Business, Carnegie Mellon University, where I work with Professors Egon Balas and John Hooker.

I have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Campinas (Unicamp), from where I visited the University of Lisbon for one year, and a master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Sao Paulo (USP). Before coming to CMU, I also worked as an OR analyst for four years at Petrobras and one year at Neolog.

My research interests include:

  • Mathematical optimization
  • Sensitivity analysis
  • Cutting planes
  • Decision diagrams
  • Scheduling

I am currently president of the INFORMS Student Chapter at CMU.
